Kanna snapped her fingers, "I'm gonna win that twenty bucks someday mister!! Just you wait!" She remained silent for a moment as his last statement sunk in. Eyes lighting up, she practically yipped, "You're going to Camp Shikon too!?!??! Hey... but we still have a few days left! Why are you leaving now?"

"Yeah, well," he leaned forward, expression looking quite sarcastic, as if he were readying to tell her the secret of the universe. "...You see, I'm a counsellor so..." he paused to roll his eyes, "I just have to be there bright and early...-.-..."

"Hold on!" Kikyou held both hands up, then pointed at Sesshoumaru, narrowing her eyes. "YOU are going to Camp Shikon?" She paused for a moment, then turned to Kanna, looking annoyed. "Good luck there, Kanna. I'm not going anymore..."

"WHAT?!" Kanna screeched, so loud that it made a cat fall off the wall. "Kikyo!! You just HAVE to go!! I'm gonna die there if I don't have your support!! And plus, you heard the man! He's a counselor and we won't see him at all really!!"

"Awwh, come on," Sesshoumaru smirked, not really looking too disappointed despite what he pretended, "I'll admit my driving is reckless, I don't really like kids and I'm an overall prick, but really, I'm not THAT bad...Besides, shorty's right...Like I'd waste my time hanging around with you brats,"

Kanna's eyes twitched as she threw her pen at Sesshomaru's head, "I'm not short!! Fluffy ...You're just abnormally tall!" <<;; >>;;

Kikyou shut her eyes tightly, her hands clenching into two very angry fists. "I do not see any kids here other than yourself... Driving around like crazy, using a car as your private little toy... Heh." She then turned to Kanna again and smirked. "Thank God we won't be seeing much of him, anyway."

"That's because it is my private little toy," Sesshoumaru snidely responded, louder than he needed to, ignoring the last part of her comment.
Turning back to Kanna, he faked a pained look. "Awwh, don't call me that, you know I hate it..." he whined.
Sometimes his almost split personality amazed even him at times.

"Does that mean you're going Kikyo??" Kanna asked as she tilted her head. "Gimme back my pen Fluff miester!!" She demanded, placing a hand on her hip.

She nodded in response to Kanna's question and abruptly turned around, folding her arms. "This is just so typical... What else could I expect from an arrogant prep like you?" She could now feel her nails digging into her palms, as she fought the urge to hit Sesshoumaru with her backpack.
Oh, how she hated that guy.

Sesshoumaru made a face and immaturely stuck his tongue out at the pretty but pale young woman, for it had landed somewhere in the backseat. "Keep this up and you will win the bet," he muttered under his breath, sounding annoyed at the fact that he actually had to get out of his car to retreive her pen. Her little nicknames did nothing for him either, but then again, he'd tolerated them for years, so why stop now? And, to put it both bluntly, he frankly ignored Kikyou's comment.
Kanna's accusations were true; he was unusually tall. And, the moment he stepped out from the protection of his tinted windows, part of Kikyou's accusations were also proven true.
He wore perfectly fitting khacki pants, that went down to knee height and sort of poofed out near the bottom like he old fashioned kind. His chocolate brown turtle neck clung desperately to his lean-muscled frame, and his jacket, if you could call it that, was made out of light colored leather, and only covered his arms and shoulders. His usual headgear adornation was present as well; leather pilot goggles. Fingerless gloves were on his hands and his shoes matched the rest of his outfit's style.
It was summer, and his extremely long hair was deftly bound. He wore a scowl on his face as he shoved his seat forward and began groping around the backseat. Finally finding his prey, he marched around to the other side of the car and fell to his knees right in front of Kanna, offering her the pen as if he were offering her the crown jewels. "Your pen, madam,"

Kikyou would take turns between patting her arms nervously or tapping her feet on the ground, occasionally checking her watch. She could not believe how much time she was waisting on that prep... His manners, his attitude, his voice... everything about that guy deeply annoyed Kikyou, and as much as she would ignore him, she had made sure to let everyone know about how strongly she felt for him... and not in a good way.
"Kanna, don't get that pen!" She called out in a mocking warning. "It's been tainted with his touch."

He turned his head to sneer at her, placing the pen in Kanna's hand and getting off his knees. "I'd be more worried about getting tainted by hanging out with a total b.itch like her!" he crowed, laughing, jogging around to the other side of his car and leaping in, turning the key in the ignition and speeding away.

Kikyou glared at him from the corner of her cat-like eyes, muttering a deadly curse under her breath.
'Mental note: turn his life into a living hell once we both are at Camp Shikon, and then put an end to the misery he called life with a well-aimed arrow.'
Having that thought in mind and acknowledging Sesshoumaru's departure, the young woman felt suddenly happier and relieved, turning to her friend and beckoning at her to keep on their way.
