"A series of blasts struck London's transportation system during rush hour this morning, killing at least 37 and injuring hundreds. Our sincerest condolences go out to the friends and families of the victims of this terrible attack, and we pray the perpetrators will be brought to justice."
Source, Mugglenet
Dude. Just... Dude. What is our world coming to today? I shudder to think, 'what if this had happened while Kayla and Rosie were still there'... Creepy thought.
-goes to room to brood over the poor state of things-
I'd say I feel bad... And I do, immensely so...
But then I'd feel worse, lolling about around my comfortable house, not being able to do anything.

Thanks, Nenji. Needless to say, so am I. Tama-chan, my prayers are with your uncle.
Death toll has gone up. At least 700 injured... I am sickened.
Even Hammas (or however it's spelled), a terrorist group against Israelis, is condemming this attack. I thought that kinda' weird, but as my friend's mom said, "they're Londoners, not Israelis." But Hammas is a major terrorist group unto its own, so you know it's sad when they're appalled.
No one paid much attention to the attack on Spain last year, yet London is receiving 9/11 treatment. I think it's safe to say that people like the French have finally woken up and realized that America hasn't been blowing steam out their asses these past years. I may detest Bush, but I love this country, and it's sad it takes yet another tragedy to wake those mindless fools up.
It is likely that whoever staged this attack with get their scummy asses caught, as " LONDON — Closed-circuit TV cameras track people in the British capital almost everywhere they go. Now, those recordings could help police determine who staged Thursday's bloody subway and bus explosions. More than 6,000 cameras monitor the Underground subway network and 1,800 watch the city's train stations. Cameras also have been installed on some London buses. In addition, more people carry pocket-size digital cameras and camera cell phones, and footage taken inside subway cars had found its way to British TV by Thursday afternoon."
My friend is very involved in world happenings, and usually so am I, so I'll do my best to bring you some more information when its made expressly available to me, through my own ears or Z's. CNN is a really good source to check, though, if you want more direct and detailed information. I don't pretend to know everything. In fact, I know disturbingly little about this, despite how it might seem.

I felt my heart wrench when I heard about that earlier today. And Tama-chan, I know your pain; I, too, have family in London, but thankfully they're okay. I'll be praying your uncle is safe, though.

Oh, hey, Tama-chan. I hope this cheers you up: phonelines in London are down like crazy, so it could be likely he can't call you. All the same, I'm still gonna' pray.

I may detest Bush, but I love this country, and it's sad it takes yet another tragedy to wake those mindless fools up. So tru. It is a very sad part of Human nature. We tend to hear no evil, see, no evil, and speak no evil, unti l the evil threatens us. Of course we , as such, are the greatest evil................. I could never respect people who would just turn their blind eye towards things like this and say ithat it won't ever happen to us. It is very possible. And blah blah blah,..........emo emo emo.............. Get the picture>? Well yeaah............. we already had the picture. I'm just making it staticy with my mindless rant........

*cracks a smile* Thank you Sadi-chan and Ruby-chan. *huggles you both* My whole family is praying and yes, I -am- glad that the reason why he -didn't- call was because of the phonelines were down. Thank you Sadi-chan that really eased my mind a bit.
And I'm so sorry for you too Ruby-chan...I'll be praying for your family too. They will -all- make it...I know it! ^^
Kouga-kun...That is so very true. Humans are evil as well...after all they caused this..."An eye for an eye" I hope whoever did this -will- get caught...For all the innocent people they had slained...That day for London will be their 9/11...v.v...And it took that much bloodshed to make them realize what we, Americans went through. Bush may not be the greatest pres., but I love this country as well...And I hope there will not be another terrorist attack this devastating ever again...
But once again, thank you both, Sadi-chan and Ruby-chan, for your prayers. ;.;
