i have something to say about the sesshoumaru and kikyou meeting in the movie... i presume that it's just a movie and it doesn't have a huge connection to the show. you stated that it's possible that sess/kik could have known eachother from before seeing as how they were conducting a casual conversation with one another. for me, i think that it's not true because remember in episode 116, when sesshie left but then turned his head to look back at kikyou, he said to himself, "so that's that miko who trapped inuyasha 50 years ago" -- meaning that it seems like it's perhaps the first time sesshoumaru has ever seen her. if those two ever met in the past, sesshie wouldn't have said those words. he would probably just leave without pondering about who she was. so technically, the movie doesn't count. but that's just what i think ;D

Well, the movies are supervised by Takahashi herself, so if that scene was there, it's not without reason. Again, I insist on my point that, if they hadn't known each other before, even if in a recent past, Kikyou most likely wouldn't have recognized Sesshoumaru's presence so easily.
Secondly, as for Sesshoumaru's line, "Is that the miko who sealed Inuyasha to a tree..?" Well, he does know said miko died right after sealing his brother, so he could be wondering if that was the real Kikyou or just another priestess who resembled her, seeing as she was supposed to be dead and all.
In any case, those are merely theories; whether to believe them or not, it's all up to you. o.o

True, I see your point. Wish that he would at least say something to her.. would of been more interesting and maybe be clear in showing if they had a history together in the past. Well, the movies are supervised by Takahashi herself, so if that scene was there, it's not without reason. Really? I thought that she had nothing to do with the movies. But I'll take your word for it. That's good to know. I'm sure there are definite plans for Sess/Kik in the fourth movie and how the first movie was simply showing what connection there was between them.
