Kukuku...I knew the heading would call your attention! XD
Anyway, this isn't really a hint, I suppose; it's more like a theory of sorts that I have come up with based on certain details I've been noticing... For instance...
WARNING! The following descriptions contain spoilers from the series. Read at your own risk! XD
In episode 116, after Kikyou has saved Rin and is trudging back to her horse, Sesshoumaru glances at her from the corner of his eyes and thinks: 'Is that the same miko who sealed Inuyasha...?' So sure, we all know Sesshoumaru has, at least, HEARD about Kikyou, since Jaken kinda told him Inuyasha had fallen in love with a human miko and she pinned him to a tree... But there's more...
In episode 124 (*sniffles* a very sad one, by the way...u.u), Sesshoumaru says something like "Kikyou was killed by Naraku." Notice the way he addresses to her: he didn't call her "that woman" as he did before, nor did he refer to her as "that Kikyou person" . He called her by her name only, and people usually call other people by their names unless they know them...right? o.o;
However, the bigger hint is seen in the first movie. There's a scene in which Kikyou is standing near a cliff and, when Sesshoumaru approaches from behind, she SOMEHOW knows it's him without even looking back at him...o.o; And I'm pretty sure she knows he is related to Inuyasha, cuz, out of the blue, she says "I'm going to see Inuyasha." And then they talk a little bit more, and they sound so casual... Besides, that scene wasn't really needed in the movie, which leads me to think it was there for a reason; to show everybody that Sesshoumaru and Kikyou have met in the past, thus confirming my theory! XD
Well, this has been my little theory. (Aaah, the prime work of a brilliant, yet slothful mind...XD) As you can see, there are some hints that point to a possible meeting between them sometime in the past... and, who knows, Rumiko might be just taking her time until she reveals their secret to the world! XD This is what I think, and most definitely hope for! ^_^
