Summary: Oh! You guys are gonna luv me! I made a very kawaii one-shot…of our favorite couple…as kids! Aw…I think I'm getting better at one-shots...I hope to make a fanfic on them as kids in the near future...I also have an idea for a princess Kikyo and prince Sess fic...if you know what I mean...*wink wink*
The dark forest was lit with the fireflies dim glows as the wind blew the trees, shaking them and making the leaves rattle. Big yellow eyes of an owl turned it’s head slightly to see a pair of golden eyes in the deep forest, coming near it’s tree.
Sesshoumaru wiped furiously at a tear rolling down his cheek as he tried keeping a calm, cold face. “Mother…why did you leave me? Why did you have to leave me all alone…” he growled.
He caught a sweet scent of human in the gentle breeze that made his long silver hair separate from his face. He growled as a sign for whatever he or she was to go away but the scent did not fade. He bared his growing fangs.
“Who’s there? Show yourself?” he tried acting brave. A pair of bright brown eyes seemed to glow from the darkness. He seemed to relax at how soft they were. “She didn’t leave you alone…she will always be with you…in you’re heart. And I bet you’re still in her’s.” a gentle voice rang out as Sesshoumaru saw a purifying smile form on the girl’s lips.
“I’m Kikyo. Who are you?” she asked. Sesshoumaru gave her the same cold glare he gave everyone. “What do you know!” he said ignoring her greeting. “You’re just a stupid human wench.” He spat feeling another tear roll down.
He covered his eyes in his parted bangs to hide his feelings. Kikyo frowned and got up from the well she was sitting on. Sesshoumaru felt the warmest feeling on his cheek as a tender hand wiped his tear away. It’s as though his cheek would catch fire from the touch.
“It’s sokay.” Kikyo said again. She trailed a finger down his soft cheek and traced one of the stripes. Sesshoumaru backed away.
“What’s you’re name?” Kikyo asked. Sesshoumaru paused a moment then blinked. “Sesshoumaru…” he murmured. He gasped slightly feeling the girl hold his hand. “Come on! Wanna play?” she asked. Sesshoumaru stood there a moment then simply turned his head away pretending to be unamused.
Kikyo frowned. “What’s wrong?” she asked. Sesshoumaru remained silent. He suddenly saw a dark crimson red color in front of his face. He noticed it was a rose. Kikyo’s pleading eyes waited for him to accept it. He did and pretended to overlook it like he had never seen one before.
“Look over there! ForGetMeNots!” she said excitedly. Sesshoumaru felt a feeling inside never felt before. All because of this human girl. He watched her play among the field of flowers.
He left her out of sight for a moment but when he turned back she was gone. He gasped and went following her scent. “Kikyo!” he called. Kikyo shot out from the bushes. “You said my name.” She said. Sesshoumaru folded his arms. “So?” he asked coldly.
Kikyo leaned against the tree. “It’s a bit…cold.” She pulled her clothes tighter to her. Sesshoumaru saw her shiver a bit. He watched her and it seemed as though she were the angel of the forest.
He sighed and walked gracefully over to Kikyo. He put an arm around her and walked with her a while. Kikyo blushed and remained quiet now. She didn’t speak until they found a spot to sit on the edge of a mountain.
The view was beautiful as they saw the pale full moon slowly rising. Kikyo tried to catch a firefly but failed and decided to watch it fly freely. Sesshoumaru caught the girl’s wonderful scent again and couldn’t help but tighten his grip around her warm body. How she could feel slight coldness was unknown to him.
Kikyo looked into his golden gaze and gently brushed his bangs back. She tightened her grip on his shirt. “For you.” She said handing him another flower. This time it was a forgetmenot. He examined the flower and turned curiously to Kikyo.
Kikyo hugged Sesshoumaru slightly. “Will you stay with me…forever…and never forget me. Promise you won’t leave me…promise…” Kikyo said almost in a whisper. Sesshoumaru thought a moment. “Of course.” He said. Kikyo smiled warmly. She then leaned up and kissed him affectionately. Sesshoumaru was in shock from her actions but could only feel the fading of the warm, sweet kiss.
He turned over to Kikyo as she leaned against his shoulder. But he couldn’t say a word to the little miko. For she was fast asleep. And from his view…she looked just like an angel.
