“The Egg and I”<br> The quaintest curiosity, Perplexed amongst subtility. With hidden animosity, Writhing deep within.
Desolate philosophy, Burning with ferocity. Wicked mouth a-smiling, Countenance beguiling.
This is a poem I had to write last year (ninth grade) for a vocab assignment. Which I actually didn't mind in the slightest, 'cause the words I had to choose from were pretty cool. But anyway, that's why it's kinda' weird, because I had to formulate it specifically to fit those words... Those two stanzas almost seem like two seperate poems, eh? As for why I named it what I did... Well. It's weird, isn't it? Thus, a weird name.
