Kikyou fastened her seatbelt and rested one elbow on the window, propping her head up on her hand. "You still remember where I live, right, Sessheh-boy...?" She spared him a glance form the corner of her eyes, giggling slightly.

"...Uhh..." He returned her furtive glance, reddening slightly. "For the most part...Though, you'll probably have to guide me through the particulars."

"Alrighty!" She nodded, giggling at his blushed face. "If you need anything, I'm not going anywhere!" With that, she turned her gaze back to the street, idly watching a few kids playing tag on the sidewalk.

Nodding numbly, he gripped at the wheel and directed them in the general direction of her house.

"Oy..." She muttered, sticking her head out of the window as to get a better glimpse of the left-turn they had just missed. "Sessheh... You should've turned left... Ah well!" She leaned back on her seat and giggled, glancing at Sesshoumaru from the corner of her eyes. "And here I thought you still knew how to get to my place..."

He sighed. "General direction, my dear. Sorry if I wasn't a stalker," He laughed, backtracking a bit and turning down the street he had been instructed. "And next time, speak up sooner," He scolded teasingly. "Not when we've already blown past and are halfway to the next intersection."

(Hehe... trying to post where Rikku-san left off! ^^; )
Weird... The raven-haired girl rose from her seet, having a mind to have a little chat with the librarian. So many questions to ask. For instance, why on Earth was there the need to be so brutal? Jeez, doesn't anyone have a drop of common courtesy these days? But by the time she had approached the front desk, the woman was gone.
"I could've sworn that--"
Then, there was something. Something that drew her attention away from the main desk to one of the shelves. It was that very book that lady had taken away. And of course, she just couldn't resist the urge to go and reach for it, regardless whether or not if the librarian would approve of it - most likely not, but hey, as if that mattered anymore.
So many inquiries moved through her head as Kagome moved her way towards the shelves. Wait-- was that book glowing? Something was wrong - whether it was her very sanity or eyesight, books just don't glow.
She cautiously reached for it. But before she could even brush her nails on it, a shock of surprise rushed its way through her. Her surroundings warped and morphed rapidly that Higurashi didn't even know what hit her.
A girl around her age, robed in a green and white uniform was sitting right smack ontop of a swollen, pink balloon. Droplets of sweat and vibrating hands marked that she was nervous. It was at a difficult angle so that Kagome could not clearly see her face.
The surrounding was a cave, or atleast, that's what she had thought it was. But if it was a cave, why was it... pulsing? The walls looked almost... alive.
The 'cave' started to shake furiously as a... tenticle broke from the ground. As it rose higher and higher until an unconscious young man with silvery-white hair and doggy-ears came into view. And now, the girl looked more than just nervous...
"INUYASHAAAAA!!!!!"
"What do you think you're doing?!"
The cave walls instantly disappeared as Kagome was left, in complete shock in the middle of the library once again. She blinked once, then blinked again. Her eyes seemed to work just fine, so it must have been her sanity that's been running wild, yes, her sanity.
"Answer me!"
In a swift action, Kagome rapidly twirled around, only to find a very furiously librarian standing before her. "Uhh- w-w-well I-I-I..." She managed to stutter.
"I told you to stay away from that book!" The lady snarled grabbing her hand, and led her to the exit. As soon as Kagome was a good foot away from the door, it slammed closed. Now, she was just down right confuzzled, standing by the door and rubbing her eyes out. That's it, she was never having oden mixed with mustard again!

"Nah...I guess I'll just sit back and watch you try and find your way to my place..." Kikyou let out a soft giggle and brought her index finger to her bottom lip, seemingly considering something. "Of course, that might mean our snack will be delayed, but...I can handle it!" She turned to her boyfriend, sparing him a mischievous little grin.

He scowled, not really angry or anything of the sort, but wanting to show his displeasure with her words. "You better now," He threatened, though said threat was greatly weakened by the grin he now sported.
