[Wahahaha xD]
Shippou's eyes followed the dual-colored ball as his team mate kicked it to him. Squinting as it raced at uncomprehensible speeds towards him, he allowed himself to sink slightly in the sand before springing up to deliver a harsh whack with his closed fist, sending it spiraling right on back.
Landing with surprising grace, his arm reached up to wipe the gathering beads of perspiration from his brow. "Look guys. I gotta go for awhile, ya? Kan's gonna' kill me if I'm not back in time to walk Kikyou to her first trial. I'll be back in a few hours though, ya? So keep it up or I'll know you've been slacking off, ya?"
With that, Shippou turned on his heels and raced across the sandy beach into the cool green clearing. Diving into the water her used all his blitz skills to propel himself through it as fast as he could. Kanna was gonna kill him! Taking a brief precious moment to shake the water from him, he darted down the path and into Besaid Village just in time to see Kanna go around the corner. "Kan!" he cried desperately, trying to catch her attention before she entered the temple.

"Of course she is, ya?" Shippou looked slightly hurt. "You didn't actually think I'd be off practicing for the blitz -- no matter how much I like the game -- in such an important time like this if she hadn't gave me the go-ahead? Kikyou wants us to win almost as much as we want to win, ya? Actually, I should be heading back down to finish up with the guys but I wanted to scope things out here first, eh? I'm definitely coming to stay when she's nearing the end of the trial though, ya?"
[xP...They're fun to write but annoying to place.]

[Hmm....]
"I realized." She sniffed, looking towards temple. "But I had to ask... Besides you know Kikyo wants to see you happy and you obviously wouldn't be happy if you missed a few days of precious training to defeat that coc.ky team."
Her greyish black eyes traveled back towards him as she continued, "It would be best if we go to see her now... Good luck with your training later on." With that said, she turned away from him and continued walking on towards the temple.

Shippou shrugged loftily and turned on his sandal-ed heels. He was in no particular hurry to get back to practice. Well, he was, but not the same kind of hurried he had been to get here. So though his stride was hastened he was not over-exerting himself.
--
A heavy, black boot dropped unceremoniously into a puddle of stagnant water. Said boot was carefully adorned with many carefuly polished silver buckles and chains. Another boot soon joined the first one. The owner of the boots instinctively reached a heavily gloved hand to the large, earthenware jug hanging from the rustic twine strapped across his shoulder. The jug was lifted to extremely parched lips and a large sip was taken. The man grinned in bitter satisfaction at the drink; a rich, firey sake -- some of the best. The rest of him was garbed in a peculiar combination of monestary robes and traditional warrior uniform. He was the pure, he was the tainted -- he was a fallen monk. One arm was carefully concealed away, though for reasons unstated. His obsidian strands were carefully slicked back into a tight ponytail. He found himself staring out at the world from behind wirey-framed, darker-tinted glasses of some kind. More steps were taken in those boots of his. He had somewhere to be and he would not be late.
--
A slender face of angelic proportions was tilted back over a heavy concrete structure, the rest of the man's slim frame draped over it as well. He was clearly resting up a bit. His high cheekbones jutted out only slightly so, giving his expression a constantly hawkish expression. Suddenly, his eyes cracked open and two smoldering gems of a deep, deep amber were revealed. Music was blasting in the background and the very floor and room about him began to move, twist and shift til' it became a platform, being elevated. He stood to greet the roaring fans, offering a small wave. Joining his fellow team mates on another platform, the game was soon initiated. The Zanarkand Abes were clearly dominating the sphere. Several of the opposing players had already been knocked straight from the sphere by yours truly, the man who could now be seen to have exquisitely long, silver hair which was currently tied back in a tight, almost bun-like pony tail to avoid angered opponents yanking. His eyes narrowed as he saw the formidably sized ball flying at him. His gloved hand darted out and he blocked it's path. As it ricocheted off the other players, causing many to wince in pain, he propelled himself upwards, slammed a rival out of the way and got his hands on the ball. There was always more than one way to get the ball...His eyes narrowed even further, if such a thing was possible. They were tied. There were but a few seconds left in the game or else they would be forced to go into over time...And since the Zanarkand Abes had scored last, they would not be getting the ball. That could mean unpretty things...Surging to the top of the sphere, he leapt out with a display of daring acrobatics. A mid-air flip was executed and just as he was about to deliver a harsh kick to the ball and score the winning goal, a large and very odd water pool, of a size to rival the sphere itself, was spotted and there were suddenly several explosians as the sphere and the very stadium about him were destroyed. The ball was missed and dropped into the oblivion, very shortly followed by the man...

Now that she was inside the temple, the black mage walked over to the steps and leaned against the rail. Greyish black eyes fluttering shut for a moment, she waited... for that was all that she could do. "She's late..." Kanna thought opening her eyes again when she heard footsteps.
"Kanna-san, you are waiting for Lady Kikyo?" The caretaker of the temple on the island, an obvious follower of Yevon, asked.
"I am... Have you seen her?"
The monk rubbed the back of his head, "Well yes... Lady Kikyo told me to tell you if you came before they got back that she and Inuyasha were going for a little walk-- To calm the young girl's nerve's." He quickly added upon seeing the dark look that flashed across Kanna's face.
Great... Just great... "Well then I'm going. If you see the two of them, tell them to stay-- Anyways I'll be back before they come most likely." She added coldly, walking back towards the exit of the temple and going outside. "I needed to go and buy a new bangle anyways..."

{Nyaaaah...@__@;; *is getting a headache for real* What is everyone talking about here?? And what the heck is this trial??? Is it the same thing as this other pilgrimage thingie?? And where the heck is Sessh and what is he doing?? AAAAAAH!!!}
"That won't be necessary, Kanna." Came the soul-soothing voice of a young, raven-haired maiden, her white silk-like sleeves nearly touching the ground as she cupped both hands together before her marine blue skirt. "I am back now."
{This is no fun...*holds ice bag on top of her head* Why do I get the feeling I'm not gonna go all the through with this...? >>; }

Kanna stopped, her hand still on the temple's heavy door as she looked at Kikyo with a look almost like surprise. "Hmm guess it isn't... Come now, you just missed Shippo and we shouldn't be wasting anymore time out here." She reopened the temple door and walked back inside.
"Now you're ready...?" Kanna asked as they reached the top of the steps to the Clositer in the dark temple.
[Ahh sowwy Ruby x.x;; The trial aka the cloister of trials is what Kikyo has to go through in order to become an official summoner so that she can begin her pilgrimage. She also has to go to each cloister in order to get the aeons. o.o;;]
