Kanna's eyes widened as she let out a faint gasp when Kikyo fell forward. Taking a step closer, she visible relaxed when the young summoner was caught by her loyal guardian Inuyasha. Thank goodness the Ronso had lightning fast speed...
When Kikyo and Inuyasha left the chamber, Kanna's eyes fell upon Shippo, then the newcomer's before she gave a sigh. "I suppose all the villagers will pester her until she summons the aeon now..." She muttered, going over to the steps and picking up what seemed to be a doll.

"Most likely, ya?" Shippou fervently agreed. "Specially the monks. You know how they are. But thank Yevon for their blessing."

She nodded her head in agreement as she stood up and put the doll away. "Though they're supportive of anyone who is willing to become a summoner these days..." Looking distant for a moment, Kanna came back to it and began walking towards the door entering the Trials once more. "She'll be doing the summoning later tonight so your little friend should get some sleep. Shippo."

"Hey!" Shippou protested hotly, chasing after her. InuYasha had roughly led Sesshoumaru out a few moments before. Shippou's look turned sullen as he lumbered after Kanna. "He needed our help, ya?"

Kanna stopped and turned to face him completely. "I suppose that's acceptable but who is he Shippo? And what in the world posessed him to just barge in on us like he did?" She crossed her arms over her chest, giving an exasperated sigh, "I was about to learn a new spell but now I forgot it..."

"I...umm...Well," Shippou fumbled under Kanna's intense stare. "He uh...Got too close to Sin's toxin and um, yeah!"
Sesshoumaru, who had been silent up to this point, cut in. "I uh...I'm sorry about that...I just...I'm not from around here..."
It seemed Shippou was not the only affected.

An expression of surprise appeared on Kanna's face as she gazed at Sesshomaru with wide eyes. "You came in contact with sin and still survived...?"
That shock suddenly disappeared as Kanna regained herself and turned away. "Well thank Yevon you survived... And... it's alright-- I'll learn the spell tomorrow morning."

"I wonder how Auron is..." Sesshoumaru murmured to himself, turning to follow Shippou who had already began to wander out.
Shippou paused in the hallway to stare at Sesshoumaru. "You know Auron? THE Sir Auron?"
Sesshoumaru stared back. "I don't know anything about a 'sir', but the guy's dressed all in red and has a fixation with sake."
Shippou looked incredulous. "Must be the same!" he sucked in his breath.

Kanna rolled her eyes as she walked out of the temple and towards the general direction of the island's shop. Walking inside, she began to observe the different equiptment that was in stock for the time. "Which one would be most useful for the time...?" She asked herself outloud.

"Miroku's what he always went by," Sesshoumaru shrugged. "I think Auron was almost a title."
Shippou's brow furrowed in thought as they strolled towards the tent to get themselves some lunch. "You're right," he agreed after a minute. "I heard him say so himself once...Strange...That we know the same person. Guess it proves that it was toxin though, huh? No Zanarkand for you."
Sesshoumaru's eyes narrowed as Shippou's back turned. He wasn't too sure about that.

After buying the bangle she wanted, she walked outside and tried it on, satisfied with how it fit perfectly. "It almost makes me want to train for a little."

Shippou solemnly handed Sesshoumaru the sword that he had meant for Haku. Sesshoumaru, surprised about such a sudden gift, took it as gracefully as he could after hearing all the backstory Shippou would offer. Stepping out of the tent, he found his gaze captivated by the way the bright light played off the sparkling blue colors. Shippou stepped out after him and mentally winced upon catching sight of Kanna.
Surely...She would raise protests...
Either that or...

[Yeah... it is boring if we just go in order. The way we're doing it is just fine lol]
It was decided. Taking out the doll from before, Kanna turned around and began walking towards the exit of the little village. But a glint of blue caught her eye which made her abruptly stop and look to see what it was.
And her fears became a reality...
It was brotherhood... Haku's sword that he left before going off. Eyes softening somewhat, she looked at the sword and was reminded of some fond memories before a dog's bark brought her back to it.
She would go protest about the sword going to Sesshomaru but it wasn't her place to decide. So all she did was look away and continue walking out of the village to train and clear her mind.

Shippou had a strange expression on his face upon seeing the one on Kanna's but said nothing to alert Sesshoumaru to any 'problem' he and Kan might be having. Instead, he motioned for him to follow him past the temple. The two climbed over a divider, which consister of several poles with chains hanging from them, and entered the small forest glen behind the temple (which sadly does not exist in reality). The began to do some light training with the more docile fiends that made their 'home' here.

A half an hour had passed and Kanna had easily walked her way to the fork where you could either go straight ahead to the beach or go to the little ravine. "I can't concentrate..." She sighed, walking onto the beach and to the clear blue water.
Dipping her hands into the crisp ocean water, Kanna let out a sigh as she looked out to the ocean. "I wonder if we'll run into sin on the boat ride tomorrow..."
