It's a beautiful Fedal Era Monring. Two empty glossy eyes stare straight on towards tghe Horizon as tyhe hoof beats of the buffalo beneath him sound continuously.
Tototsai stretch as his (Yak is it?) trans ports him to where ever he was going. He forgot. His creaky old bones cracked as he stetched, before he stopes suddenly, before going to rub the pain he'd caused himself.

Sesshoumaru sat, elegantly perched atop a boulder in the midst of a mossy, dew-covered glen. Jaken and Rin were a ways off, and he was enjoying the sense of solitude built up around him before such natural peace would inevitably be broken by loud, indignant squawks and wild fits of giggling.

Out of the dense woods came the miko, walking with that ethereal grace so natural to her. Shadows from the previous night had welcomed her into their embrace as her Shinidama-Chuu provided their mistress a fresh refill of souls, giving her plenty of energy to keep on her wandering missions for a few days more; now it was time for the tragic priestess to make her way back to her companions.
If she strained her eyes just a little, she could already make out three very distinct sillhouttes in the distance, even though she didn't really appreciate one of them. Nonetheless, Kikyou couldn't help but smile slightly at the sight of that cheerful little girl, as well as her surrogate father.
[So we're improvising, huh? Okies, let's see what happens! xD]

"Jaken! Rin!" His smooth voice commanded; at once, imp and child paused in their antics, turning doleful sets of eyes upon him. The corner of his mouth twitched, much to his own amazement, but his expression managed to remain neutral. "We have rested enough. Should we wish to reach... home..." The word sounded somewhat foreign on this tongue, "Before nightfall, we must carry on."

Her smile, timid at first, gradually became quite an obvious display of contentment as the woman watched Rin leap to her feet in obedience to the taiyoukai's orders, dragging an utterly annoyed Jaken on her way up. Regardless of how long they had been travelling together, her cheerful antics never ceased to amuse Kikyou.
"Rin-chan seems about ready." She turned to Sesshoumaru, her smile lingering. "We may go on."

He rose from his perch in a single, fluid motion; the wind caught his long, silvery tresses as he did so, sending them flying. Lighting effortlessly upon the ground, he turned his stern gaze upon each of his traveling companions in turn. "See to it that you don't fall behind," He rumbled, in an effort to remain indifferent to their fates--an attempt which failed rather miserably, as everyone, even Jaken, seemed to sense this.

A nod, followed by the sound of steps on the fresh grass. "Do you reckon we're too far from our destination?" Her feather-light hand rested atop Rin's shoulder, gently compelling the child to walk by her side.

He looked vaguely annoyed by her question, and chose to ignore it. Gradually, his stride began to lenthen, until he was walking a good many paces before the rest of them.

For the shortest of seconds, mahogany hues could barely be seen through a pair of thin slits, glaring dangerously at the taiyoukai's broad back. How dared he leave her without an answer? With much effort, she resisted the urge to let out a resented whimper and merely followed his lead, head held high in a proud, regal fashion.

"We stop," He rasped suddenly, in a ghostly tone. Frozen in mid-stride, he glanced warily about them, keen ears straining for that which he'd just heard--the low of some beast. "Something is coming."
