Miroku gave her a funny look. "You're an awful long ways away from it...And going in the wrong direction, too...Why don't I take you? I'm not going back to the meeting anyway..." he glanced at her quickly before confessing, "I lied to my dad, sort of...I'll get chewed out later, but hey, it's worth it, I figure..."

Ayame sweatdropped, "You weren't missing anything interesting in there... I think those corporate guys were about to get into a fist fight when I ran out. And if your father ever notices that you were gone then I'll just say you were..."
She paused, placing a hand on her chin in thought, "Ah! When you came back from the bathroom, your father was trying to break up the fight. And being the responsible, considerate guy you were, you invited me to a little tour around the company since this was my first time here and then by the time we were done walking around, the meeting was over so we just... Left or something."

"Alright," Miroku shrugged and shook his head. Pivoting on his feet, he tugged briefly on his pant legs to get them unstuck from behind the tongue of his shoe and pointed briefly in the direction they needed to go. "Let's move out, then..."

Ayame stretched slightly before catching up to the older man. Shoes clicking on the tiled floor just like before, she looked around until finally becoming annoyed with the silence. "What would you be doing if you weren't going to be forced to take over the company?"

He looked startled. "Well...I...I suppose I'd rather fancy being..." he paused, a faint crimson shading the tips of his ears, "A...Man of the faith...A minister...a priest...Something along those lines..."
He gave an awkward little chuckle. "Strange, I know."

Kouga drummed his fingers in his pockets unconciously as he walked down the hallway. He had been somewhat late for the meeting scheduled in a different room, but regardless one of the higher authorities of said meeting had had a run-in with the police, so it had been delayed. Not to mention his driver would take at least 30 minutes to pick him up. Kouga's face kept its calm, inside, he was cursing extensively. He was hungry, but as the meeting had been in the other side of the building it would take him a while to get to the cafeteria. He walked by two who were talking, and red caught his eye. Not stopping, he turned his head and caught a decidedly familar set of greenish eyes.

Ayame gave a smile. "It's not that weird actually. I think that's great that you want to do something good like that with your life. All I really want to do is sing..." Her cheeks turned pink at her confession... that is... until her seagreen eyes noticed another set of eyes looking at her. "Oh my gosh... What's HE doing here?!" Her mind squealed as she continued to look at the guy jsut casually walking by.

Miroku paused to wait until Ayame was finished gawking; he didn't think she noticed she had stopped in mid-step to stare over her shoulder. He tapped said shoulder lightly and inquired, "Whenever you're ready..."

Ayame's cheeks turned a dark red and she gave a nervous little laugh. Oh how embarassing that was. As she began walking again with Miroku, she muttered a quick apology, then said in a lower tone, "I know that guy from somewhere..."

"Hrrm..." he looked slightly curious but did not meditate on the matter to spare her further embarrassment, though he suspected she did indeed know where she "knew him" from.

Ayame scratched her head as she continued walking with Miroku. By now, a thoughtful look had appeared on her face as she spoke to herself quietly, "Where did I see his face before...? I don't believe I saw it in the coffee shop... And I doubt I saw him at school ever. Argh!!" She ran a hand through her curly locks, giving out an exasperated sigh. "Where have I seen him before then!?"

Kouga was now out of sight from the redhead. His cerulean orbs narrowed slightly in thought. Now where have I seen that woman before?
Pushing it to the back of his mind, convincing himself he would think more on it later, he stepped into the elevator and pressed the button.

[Okay... x.x We've been walking too long towards the cafeteria so if it's alright I'm gonna continue as if we got there already. Besides... I kinda couldn't think anything else that Ayame could say ^^;;]
Upon setting one foot into the cafeteria, the sweet and delicious smells, or at least... to her nose, were good enough to make her start drooling if she didn't have any dignity. However, her dignity seemed to have no effect on her stomach, which growled quite loud in hunger. Sweatdropping at this, Ayame quickly excused herself from Miroku for a moment as she scooted towards the breakfast line. Considering how big the building was, she wasn't surprised when there was a line for bagels and such, but the wait was making her hungrier and hungrier as the thought of a toasted bagel with butter crossed her mind.

Kouga plopped down uncerimoniously on a seat, also being carefull not to spill his precious precious coffee. Pouring in sugar and a tiny bit of creamer, he absent-mindedly stirred it with a small red straw while nibbling on a muffin. It was good to have breakfast once in a while.... Once more, his eyes darted to the line. There she is again.....

Having her back to the tables, Ayame's head was tilted slightly up as she rolled on the ball of her heels, back and forth, as she read the menu up on the wall. "There are so many choices here I don't know what to choose! But... I really should tell grandfather and uncle to fix up the menus at their company..."
