He leaned in close, lips grazing past her ear, practically nibbling on it. "Or I'll expose you for what you truly are, love..."

"What I truly am...?" She pulled away from his lips, letting out an annoyed grunt. That dreaded man dared to call her 'love'..!! "And what would that be, in your strange point of view...?"

The blade carressed the soft, smooth skin of her throat as he slid the scimitar down, reattaching it to his belt. Before she could do something foolish, he tightly grasped her wrist and pulled her roughly off her horse. He then dared to pull her close and place his lips on hers, in a passionate, forceful kiss. "We're aware of who, or rather what, you used to be, miko. And we're aware of your ascension into the depths of hell, my sweet."

[Holy, Shia.... You sure there mikos in the desert? x__x;;]
She spared him a repulsive glare for a long moment, though it was also a way to disguise her clashing feelings. So passionate, so torrid... even the sands of the desert could not compare to the heat of that kiss...
No... He was her nemesis... She should not have such feelings...
"Resorting to low tricks.... I should've expected no less from the likes of you..." She finally spoke, after a while of deep thiking. "Alright, then. I'll go with you."

["Miko" does not necessarily refer to the term priestess. As you may or may not be aware, it was first used in reference to 'sorceress'.]
His molten orbs narrowed in triumph. Motioning to his steed, he grated, "Get on. I have better things to do than roast in the sun while arguing with you."

[Where the heck did you read that? As far as I know, Mikos are priestesses of the Shinto religion...-.-]
"Alright." No more words escaped her lips as she quietly complied with his command. Petulant man... Her cunning mind would think of something... She would make him pay for that, somehow...

[From a very wise, very reliable person :D...I was once in ignorance like you, and thought the same thing. But she schooled my little rear x)...]
He in turn, mounted her horse. "Try to escape and you'll be sorry. Tokijin only follows my orders...You'd have to leave on foot and risk venturing out into the desert on foot," He warned her. Clucking his tongue, he dug his boots into the side of her mount, keeping it following his own at a steady pace. Jin knew the way to his master's abode, and required no further directions.#nosmileys

"I miss this rare opportunity to have you as my companion?" She stared forth, not willing to taint her eyes with his image, sarcasm nearly dripping from her words. "I wouldn't dream of it."

His words were rather blunt and cruel; "It's advisable not to annoy me. As you'll be staying with me for quite some time to come, it would just make things unpleasant for you. So if what you have to say isn't imperitive for me to know, I'd be much obliged if you just kept it to yourself." In other words, shut the hell up, I'm in no mood for your s.hit.

A short 'heh' was her only reply, mahogany eyes still fixed solely on the horizon. Snerarios of a thousands knives piercing through Sesshoumaru's body played repeatedly in her mind as she cast another lot of curses upon him. She hated him. Hated his rough manners, hated his cold voice, and above all, hated his guts. 'Damn you, Senshi Sesshoumaru....'

"..." His molten orbs narrowed as they concentrated on the same horizon she seemed so fixated with. Muttering several vile oaths 'neath his breath, he glanced about himself quickly before shouting, "Jin! GO!" The valiant white steed took off at once, top speed. Frowning, the fiery bandit urged the Empress's horse to do the same. A few moments passed and a small shelter could be spotted. It was not much; it was open on two sides, the only covering being the roof and the western and southern walls. Leaping off her horse, his nimble fingers quickly secured it inside the dwelling. "Get down from Jin!" He hissed at Kikyou, abruptly yanking at the reigns when his horse slowed. "And get to the very corner of that wall. Now."

She glared at him from the corner of her eyes for one brief second and quietly complied with his commands. She made her way to the corner of said walls and just stood there, motionless, arms folded.

Quickly securing Jin, he darted over to where she stood. "What're you, stupid?" He grumbled, but sighed. "Nevermind; I forget how ignorant your kind are in the ways of the desert..." He paused, and glanced at her. "Err, no real offense, meant." It was surprising, his sudden change of demeanor. But there was no more time for idle chitchat. Swooping her off her feet momentarily, he deposited her in a sitting position and plopped down next to her, much closer than even he would have liked. In fact, he was so close, she was completely pushed up against the wall, entirely shielded by his body.
His efforts were not a moment too soon. Mere moments later, a huge force collided with the mud and clay wall, the wind whipping about from the opposite direction. He bit his lip -- it was clear that even the infamous Bandit King was nervous. They were lucky the shelter had been facing the right direction, or they would have been severely assaulted by the scalding sand. The sun seemed to sink low in the sky, even though it was only a bit past noon, and it was rather dark in the desert.
In all honesties, today had not been the ideal day to 'kidnap' her. In fact, he had not initially planned going after her. Hell, he hadn't even known she was passing through until his right hand man had alerted him of the fact. Rather, he had kidnapped her out of necessity. All her entourage had surely perished, as it would have been a hard press to have escaped the desert in time on fast horses. Unfortunately, most of her guards had been riding camels, infamously slothful creatures. The massive sandstorm also contributed to the fact he hadn't shed blood in front of the Empress -- his homeland had clearly been prepared to do his dirtywork.
He glanced once at Kikyou, looking mildly concerned. She would surely object to both this treatment and this closeness, but it was imperative to shield her, lest she get the full force of the desert's fury.
Heh. He wasn't the heartless bastard he made himself out to be. Through her incessant nagging, he could not hear the building of the storm.

"What the hell are you doing?" She placed both hands on his bare chest and tried pushing him away; he was much strong than her, though, and wouldn't give in to her thrusts. "Let me go...!!"

He shot her the nastiest look he could muster, though there was no true feeling behind it. "Considering I'm not holding onto you," He snarled, "I can hardly 'let go of you'..." Sure, he was irritated at her uneducated bitching -- how could she not notice the freakin' storm about them that even HE of all people was worried about -- but it was nothing more than an inconvenience, as she clearly could not overthrow him. Glaring at her one last time, he moved away. "Be my guest," He seethed, nearly laughing as the sand chose that moment to blow its hardest, a majority of it hitting her now that he wasn't there to block it. "I never knew you city-dwellers were such gluttons for punishment."
