He looked taken aback by her actions. In fact, he was startled enough to refrain from making lewd comments or inappropriate advances. "I am a bit worn down," He admitted, adjusting the rosary beads which locked away his kazaana. "But otherwise, quite fine. As for how we got seperated... As I recall, Lady Sango, you were the one who disappeared. I left the party shortly after in search of you..." He suddenly took on a concerned expression. "Are you well? Have you been hurt? Do you feel violated in any way?" As he said this last part, he scooted forward to caress her rear.

Sango cried out in surprise and struck him, leaving a swolen red handprint on his cheek. "I wasn't feeling violated! Miroku why can't you just stop being a lech in serious moments like this?! I've been worried half to death, wandering around completely alone with no one but Kirara to keep me company. I didn't know where anyone was, or if they were even alive, and all you can think to do is to touch me in innappropriate ways! If you have feelings for me then you can show them in a different manner than that!" She turned to leave him but found that she really didn't want to, and she didn't want to be alone. She stood silently, her back facing him. To afraid of being alone to move, but too angry to face him.

He palmed his injured cheek, rubbing it slowly, in soothing motions. His amused expression was lay long gone, replaced by a more somber, emotionless mask. "My apologies Lady Sango," He sighed. "Too true, now is not the time for such actions. I'm afraid I let my hand get the better of me."
He hesitantly ventured forth, placing a heavy hand on her shoulder, concentrating very hard to keep it from wandering.

Sango sighed. "Houshi-sama, will you never learn? You always have, and always will end up with a red handprint lining your face if you touch me like that. Especially during a time like this." She smiled inwardly. He is actually doing very well right now. I can' t believe he can manage to keep his hand on my shoulder and not reach for other places. She looked around. "Have you seen the others at all?" Kirara's attention was caught by a brilliantly coloured violet butterfly. She pranced around, chasing the small creature. Sango couldn't help but smile as she noticed.

"The last time I saw the others was just before I left to go look for you," He shook his head. Noticing that she was distracted by something, he followed her gaze with his own eyes. He, too, smiled at the sight, though his amusement was far more subtle than hers.

Sighing, Sango turned her eyes back to the monk in front of her. She studied him slightly. He did seem rather tired. How long has he been looking for me? Hopefully not as long as I've been looking for them. That's days. And why wouldn't the others help him look? Sango frowned. "Did the others say that they would wait for you to return, or did they say that they would keep going, and that you could catch up when you found me?" She silently hoped that they would have decided to wait, she was weary already from searching for days, constantly travelling. The journey back to find the others would be difficult to do.

He hesitated to tell her the truth. "They... Did not say. InuYasha was complaining... And I decided just to leave."

Sango frowned, hearing the hesitation in his voice. She turned her head to look at him as they walked along through the forest. "Miroku, you don't sound so confident with that statement. Is there some information that you're not tell ing me?"

"They did not want me to go," He grudgingly revealed. "Because they thought it better we search for you as a group. I did not listen, and left when first I got the chance. Consequently, I have no clue whether they waited or headed on."

Sango nodded, wondering that herself now. "Ah.." She said, knowing that Inuyasha had very likely told them to push on. Well, we've got Kirara...it shouldn't take us too increadably long to catch up. And, of course, there is always the chance that Kagome and shippo could have convinced Inuyasha to wait for us." She said hopefully.

"That would be nice," He agreed, quite longingly. But knowing the hanyou, it was, sadly, not very likely at all.

Seeing the doubt in Miroku's face, Sango had to laugh. She shook her head, knowing that Miroku's doubt was probably well within reason. "Well, either way, it's probably best that we get moving. We won't catch them by standing here." She said, trying to be optimistic. "Kirara, come." She called, bringing Kirara back from her deep chase after a large purple butterfly. She chirped once before transforming into her larger from. Sango climbed onto Kirara's back, holding down a hand to help Miroku up. "You coming or not?" She said, smiling.

The corners of Miroku's eyes crinkled with mirth, as his arm darted from the billowing folds of his Buddhist robes to connect his hand with hers. Pulling himself atop the graceful creature, her carefully situated himself behind Sango.
[..Uhh <_<... -shrug XD- ?]

"Let's go Kirara!" She called loudly as the large cat demon sprung into the air. "Miroku, do you know where they were exactly? Or are we just shooting an arrow in the dark?" She asked, hoping to get an idea of how long it would take to find the others.
